Enter classroom only with the instructor’s permission. After receiving permission from instructor, the student must wait for the exercise in progress to be over before entering. If student arrives late, he/she may be asked to observe class instead of participate.
If for some reason the student needs to leave early, he/she must receive permission from instructor before the beginning of class.
Please notify the front office if the student is going to be absent so the instructor can be notified. Make-up class can be arranged.
No talking, yawning, or horseplay during class.
No chewing gum, eating or drinking in the studio. Only water bottles are allowed.
Class dress and hair codes must be followed. No jewelry, only small earrings are acceptable.
No street shoes in the studio.
Ballet shoes cannot be worn outside of the building: It reduces the life of the shoes and it can bring hazardous materials into the studio that can damage the dance floor and/or cause injuries for students and company dancers.
Cover-ups that cover both top and bottom must be worn over your uniform when entering and leaving the premises.
Students must arrive at least 15 minutes before class to change, use the restroom, and be ready before class starts.
Maintain eye contact and focus on the instructor at all times.
Students should never stop in the middle of an exercise unless an injury is sustained.
Listen and apply corrections appropriately.
Do your best and have a positive attitude!!!
Respect your classmates, instructors and staff.
Gossiping, name calling, and destruction of property will not be tolerated.
Show appreciation by thanking and applauding your instructor at the end of class.
Please no littering. Keep the studios, dressing room, and lobby areas clean.
We recommend labeling your shoes, and all your belongings. We are not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen items. Items in the Lost & Found box not collected are donated to a charitable group at the end of each month.
