Opportunities

Central to our mission of fulfilling the developmental needs of serious young dancers, performance opportunities are provided during the season to not only enhance skills, but also to foster confidence and self-esteem.

All students are invited to perform in the end of year Academy Showcase, in which students will show off their skills developed during the season for friends and family.  In recent years, Beauty and the Beast and Wizard of Oz ballet performances were produced featuring beautiful sets and costumes.  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is on tap for May 2013.

For our Conservatory Company dancers, a Spring performance is produced featuring elevated opportunities to work with professional choreographers and guest artists in a professional theater setting.  Our Synergy 2013 performance in March will feature the classical ballet Paquita along with several contemporary pieces.

In addition to these performance opportunities, many of our dancers audition for and dance in Ballet San Antonio performances such as Nutcracker and Coppelia.
